Welcome to my Web site!

I received formal training in Studio Art at New York University in 1991.  While at NYU, I later made a slight career shift by pursuing my other passion, helping children. I received my Bachelors degree in Applied Psychology, and then my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in California. I worked primarily with children with cancer and autistic disorders. It was while working on my Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that I started to explore my passion for art again.

My style of painting is contemporary with a large emphasis on flowers and abstract art.  Henri Matisse and Georgia O’Keefe have been the most influential artists for me. My primary medium is working with acrylics as well as with oils.  In addition to painting, I recently started exploring photography as another means to express my art form. Flowers, landscapes, and children are my primary inspirations for my photographs, which I portray in both color and black and white.  I participate in various farmer's markets, art walks, as well as galleries  throughout the year. You can check my website to see where my work is currently being displayed and sold, or you contact me directly to order any of the products on this web page.

Thank you for visiting and enjoy!
